The gate looks tidy - a simple clean design and a good, safe (screwed into the wall) fastening - does not rely on pressure to keep it in place, it is actually held safely on brackets. Because the gate is made in one piece and is adjusted at the wall ends, there is no ugly overlapping of halves to make it fit, so keeps it simple and obviously easier to clean! Love the fact that it is ‘no-trip’ and also can be removed easily when not needed. It does not have the highest standard of manufacture as it is slightly bent, where the heat of welds at the bottom and top rails has warped the gate. A bit picky, I know, but just saying…it’s sturdy enough for the job. Really like that it is powder coated metal and apart from the wall fixings, there is no plastic. Overall it is excellent value for money and I would definitely buy again.
