Q. How do I install the car seat?
A. The seat utilises your vehicle's ISOFIX anchor points. Squeeze the ISOFIX connectors to extend them, and click them into your car's anchor points. It also uses a Top Tether (or support leg, depending on the model) which must be securely fastened to the designated anchor point in your car's boot or rear floor.
Q. Can I use this seat from birth?
A. Yes. The seat is suitable from birth (40cm). It includes a plush, padded newborn insert to provide extra support for tiny babies, which can be removed as the child grows.
Q. How long should my child remain rear-facing?
A. The i-Size standard dictates extended rear-facing for children from 40 to 105cm (approx. birth to 4 years old). The seat can be rotated to forward-facing from 76cm (15 months old) onwards.
Q. What is the "Safe Click" harness system?
A. The seat has a 5-point safety harness that adjusts automatically alongside the 15-position headrest. This means there are no tricky, re-threading straps as your child grows. When your child reaches 105cm, the harness can be neatly stored inside the seat, and you transition to using the car's standard 3-point seatbelt.
Q. Are the covers machine washable?
A. Yes, the eco-friendly fabric covers are removable and can be machine washed (refer to the product label for exact temperature guidelines).
