How do I install the Joie Elevate in my car?
The seat is installed forward-facing using your vehicle's 3-point seat belt. It features well-marked, colour-coded installation paths (green guides) and built-in lock-offs to ensure a snug and secure fit.
Do I need to re-thread the harness as my child grows?
No. The seat features a Grow Together headrest and harness system. You can adjust the headrest into 10 different positions with one hand, and the harness height will adjust simultaneously without needing to re-thread it.
How do I convert it into a booster seat?
When your child reaches 15 kg, you can transition the seat into a high-back booster. You don't need to completely remove the harness from the seat; you simply unbuckle it, tuck the harness straps and buckle into the seat's built-in hidden storage compartment, and fold the padded covers over it.
How do I clean the covers?
The seat covers and padding are removable and machine washable. Refer to the wash care label on the fabric, but generally, it is recommended to wash on a delicate cycle and air dry.
Does the seat come with a cup holder?
Yes, it comes with an integrated, detachable cup holder that can be attached to either side of the car seat to keep drinks and snacks handy.
